The Senior Marketing Partner is responsible for leading the development and execution of a fully integrated marketing strategy that actively contributes to the growth and profitability of Munich Re Specialty Insurance. This role’s main objective is to help continuously build, strengthen, and elevate MRSI’s position in the marketplace.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Accelerate MRSI growth by developing, driving, and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies. Find and leverage synergies across multiple MRSI business units and among multiple target audience types.
    • Contribute to and support the continuous refinement of MRSI value proposition and its messaging
    • Define key target audiences and appropriate marketing media channel mix(es) to reach them
    • Build and coordinate the execution of clear and integrated marketing plan(s). Evaluate current marketing tactics and optimize as appropriate.
  • Enhance market penetration, client engagement & preference for MRSI, client nurture programs, lead generation etc. Lead ideation and testing of new marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Ensure a competitive mix in all campaign execution, optimizing digital marketing, social marketing, marketing/sales events, CRM and other digital and traditional media options.
  • Actively monitor, evaluate and optimize campaigns, projects and initiatives. Translate key metrics into actionable insights.
  • Partner closely with MRSI business unit leadership, Distribution / Sales, Underwriting, Internal/Strategic Communications and other key stakeholders to ensure 360-degree alignment
  • Closely collaborate with in-house support functions as well as any 3rd party resources/vendors. Prioritize & pivot as necessary.
  • Manage up/down/across in a complex organization. Lead/support cross-functional project teams.

Your profile

Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
  • 7+ years of experience with increasing level of responsibility across the Marketing discipline with a focus on integrated communications, working with a mix of traditional, digital and emerging media & tactics.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and executing successful B2B campaigns in various stages of the purchase funnel.
  • Prior insurance industry experience preferred, especially Commercial lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and deliver measurable marketing programs that drive and contribute to company growth.
  • Ability to translate enterprise strategies and opportunities into effective marketing strategies and tactics. Skilled at creating alignment and buy-in.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to embrace what drives customer behavior and decisions through analysis and decision-making based on both qualitative and quantitative data. Left-brain/right-brain balanced.
  • Curiosity and entrepreneurialism with the ability to collaborate with others to set a vision, orchestrate a process to execute on that vision, establish an effective governance process, and influence and inspire others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to act in a consultative role with multiple stakeholder levels and areas of business.
