POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Operational Excellence will be vital to expanding our foundation of process performance metrics, standardizing processes where necessary, and optimizing processes through projects. Using
the operations labor model as a foundation, the Sr. Manager will lead multiple, simultaneous projects with project scopes ranging from process improvements to patient and customer experience workflow improvements. In this role, the Sr. Manager will partner with other members of the Operational Excellence & Customer Experience team to identify, test, and implement meaningful upgrades to the patient and referring physician experience.

Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX
The Senior Manager, Operational Excellence and Customer Experience will be responsible for owning and executing all elements project work, including:

• Create supporting business cases and present to leadership
• Create and maintain project management plans
• Create and implement change management plans
• Create and implement process monitoring & control plans

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with business partners and field leaders to establish and maintain a prioritized pipeline of current and pending business process improvement projects with associated, measurable impacts.
• Establish and evolve process metrics to continuously improve our understanding of business processes and their outcomes.
• Leverage operations labor model and related analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve workflow and labor utilization in field locations.
• Maintain and evolve operational playbook in partnership with field leadership to standardize field operations based on best practices.
• Establish and maintain a pipeline to receive, evaluate and implement field-driven process improvement ideas.
• Test, evaluate and implement improvements to the customer and patient experience based on research, feedback, benchmarking, and other insights.
• Provide regular reporting on status of major initiatives and accumulated benefits.
• This role will likely require 20-30% overnight travel to gather insights, implement process improvements and maintain relationships with field leaders.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and with competing priorities.
• Possess outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze data and use resulting insights to tell a story.
• Effective facilitator able to manage difficult conversations and accommodate opposing viewpoints to arrive at the best outcome for the business.
• Education or experience equivalent to a 4-year undergraduate degree in business or other relevant field of study is preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Tableau preferred.
