Job Description for SENIOR MANAGER MEDICAL STAFF SERVICES

Full Time/Day Shift

Oversees the daily operations of the Medical Staff Office, maintaining effective and efficient systems to support the medical staff organization including staff development and evaluation and the on-going monitoring of departmental systems. Accountable for establishing, contributing, and implementation of standards applicable to medical staff members relating to credentialing, performance improvement and administrative functions. Complies with all regulatory standards, providing consultative expertise to the Medical Staff and hospital leadership on options and permissible actions in order to meet those standards. Supervises a professional support staff in administering aspects of the medical staff services functions.

Required qualifications for SENIOR MANAGER MEDICAL STAFF SERVICES:

Bachelor's Degree in Health care related field or Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) as a Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) if no bachelor's degree

5 years recent experience in a Medical Staff Director position which includes management and supervisory responsibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $107,676.00 - $160,388.00 per year
