Role :- Senior Industrial Engineer
Location :- Normal , IL
Duration :- Long term contract
End client :- Rivian
Major Deliverables / Job Profile:
· Designs, improves, and integrated manufacturing systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.
· Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements
· Understands ergonomic concepts by applying ergonomic standards, guidelines, controls and tools
· Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production
· Layout & Process validation (Plant and Shop)
· Cycle time analysis, creation & validation
· Experience in Siemens - Process Simulate software
· MOST analysis to perform Manpower calculation
· Line balancing with MTM analysis
· Facility layout study and Bottleneck Analysis for the system capacity
· Experience of Industrial & Plant Engineering projects of Global OEMs & Tier1s.
Skills:
· Layout & Workstation design
· Line balancing & manpower allocation with MTM analysis
· Ergonomic analysis
· Process documents and work instructions
· Good in Communication in English
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Proficient in tools like Siemens Process Simulate, Microstation
· Education:
· Bachelors in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering
· 5-7 years
