Sr. Financial Analyst supporting the US Commercial sales segment. Helps prepare annual budgets as well as conducts monthly forecasting, in collaboration with Commercial teams. Assists in the development of KPIs and customer profitability models in support of business/customer objectives. This role will work on highly complex assignments with extensive latitude for independent judgment and will also take on expanded responsibility for other business segments managed by the group.

What we’re looking for

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business or finance; or relevant accounting experience
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or similar discipline
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, Essbase, SAP, and Excel
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like QlikView, Tableau, etc.
  • Financial modeling skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis processes

How you will create an impact

• Prepare annual, quarterly, monthly, and daily financial and operational reports and assist with the evaluation of business results.
• Own a full P&L for all forecasting and budgeting activities and provides feedback to stakeholders.
• Analyze the monthly results for Sales, Margin, and SG&A by gathering information and preparing commentary on deviations vs forecast, budget, and prior year, and report findings to management.
• Assist in the development, calculation, and interpretation of KPI’s relevant to business performance and financial outlook.
• Create and analyze customer profitability models in partnership with the Commercial teams to support future business planning decisions.
• Create segment reporting and engage with Commercial leaders to discover upcoming business changes impacting financial outlooks.
• Perform industry and product research to assist the organization’s commercial and financial planning.
• Develop financial models in support of the annual budget and forecasting processes. Evaluates and determines profit margin increases and possible improvements in efficiency.
• Assist sales team to resolve AR and credit issues with customers.
• Ad-hoc reporting utilizing SAP and Qlikview for commercial and financial team management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
