The Role*
The Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition will lead, develop and execute Bitly’s Talent Acquisition strategy, as well as drive operational excellence and scalability in a people-centric company. This role will require a leader who can engage and develop strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and the central People team. You will grow and develop a Talent Acquisition team that is focused on building talent pipelines with diverse perspectives and experiences and providing an exceptional hiring experience for all candidates. You will build out innovative and efficient processes as we scale, implement effective sourcing strategies, and establish metrics that drive excellent business and people outcomes.

Your work will directly enable Bitly to continue building a high-engagement culture and environment, and will contribute to the growth of the company as a whole.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and lead a talent acquisition organization that includes full-life cycle recruiting, sourcing, analytics, operations and talent brand
  • Build a progressive talent strategy and roadmap, partnering closely across senior leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Create a thoughtful, clear metrics-driven approach that tracks, monitors, and evaluates the impact and effectiveness of all programs and initiatives
  • Build, advocate for, and foster diversity, equity and inclusion best practices in all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring the adoption of equitable and inclusive hiring practices across the company
  • Direct and evolve Bitly's talent acquisition strategy and infrastructure across recruiting, operations, and employer branding
  • Coach, mentor, and develop individuals on the Talent Acquisition team to provide a high level of support in their and our growth
  • Evaluate, implement and maintain processes, tools, and systems needed to scale and support the recruiting team
  • Develop programs and training initiatives to strengthen interviewing skills and align on recruiting best practices within the Talent Acquisition team and with hiring managers, interviewers and the company as a whole
  • In Partnership with the HR team, build and operationalize talent processes and programs such as mobility and referral programs, compliance, and compensation
  • Become an expert in the Bitly story and cultural values to accurately market and promote our talent brand globally

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience leading and empowering talent organizations with an emphasis on building high performing teams and inclusive cultures
  • Experience building a global recruiting infrastructure, including processes and tools
  • Excellent communication and relationship building across all levels and functions
  • Proven success in delivering consistent results under time pressures while managing multiple priorities & stakeholders
  • Passion for innovation with a focus on providing an amazing experience to both hiring managers and candidates
  • Experience driving efficiency and delivering on measurable impact through data
  • Known for creating best in class global processes that allow teams to execute successfully

If based in Colorado/New York, the annual cash compensation range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.

Pay: $185,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
