About the Role

We focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders. For the Enterprise Transformation practice, you will be responsible for architecting or helping architect multi-functional transformations having high impact over the short to mid-term, and becoming impactful over the long-term by producing scalable and sustainable results. Enterprise Transformation leverages five transformation dimensions (Capital, Cost, Growth, Talent and Technology), for which you are to hold mastery and command of Cost with mid to growing competency in at least another transformation dimension, and general awareness of others.

What You'll Do
  • Perform analyses technically and analytically, thru a top-down hypotheses, to conclusion, to recommendation analytical framework that leads to development of actionable road maps and implementation plans
  • Ability to complement strategic analyses with benchmarking and targeted quantitative and bottom-up analyses to operationalize, validate and support recommendations and actions plans
  • Master strategic concepts such as or of enterprise operating model and functional service delivery model frameworks that lead to recommendations that are grounded on strategy and lead to scalable and sustainable changes
  • Ability to work in ambiguity to quickly be able to develop hypotheses and strategic observations to ground objectives and plans of an enterprise transformation
  • Ability to perform quantitative analyses - and use advanced analytical skills and tools - to synthesize, summarize and gain insights and conclusions from vast amounts of often unstructured data
  • Ability to develop business cases through the quantitative analysis and engage in a fact-based discussion with the client to unlock additional value for the enterprise
  • Lead client teams, (e.g., functional work streams, cross-functional work teams) in developing enterprise-wide, functional and operational assessments.
  • Ability to perform PMO-type activities, and as needed lead PMO teams in support of program objectives, including financial monitoring of financial results
  • Ability to transition from a project assessment, to design and then implementation stages of project in support of full value chain of enterprise transformation
  • Experience and command of two or more functional areas in following areas: G&A (general and administrative), sourcing and procurement including demand management, sales efficiency/commercial operations/commercial excellence, organizational efficiency, outsourcing/offshoring/shared services, working capital/liquidity, supply chain/logistics, growth/profitability, technology and digital enablement/strategy
  • Ability, flexibility and desire to work in the full spectrum of enterprise transformation, from bankruptcy, to turnaround, to healthy companies
  • Desired knowledge and understanding on how technology and external factors are impacting a company's operating and business models, and ability to help define a company's new operating model
  • Seek and identify potential opportunities to position and/or expand FTI offerings in consultation with FTIs Managing and Senior Managing Directors
  • Maintain detailed working paper records reflecting assumptions, methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks
  • Work to ensure a quality product, as well as delivery of all work within established timeframes.
  • Prepare draft written analyses and other reports for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
  • Research and organize information to facilitate effective data access and analysis.
  • Responsible for day-to-day activities of project including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel. May include supervision of client personnel.
  • Strong communications ability and presence, including ability to make impactful client presentations.


Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years relevant experience
  • Proficiency with PC environment and related software, including Microsoft Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, others)
  • Advanced analytical skills, including visualization and data cleansing/analyses tools
  • Bachelors degree
  • MBA degree or equivalent experience
  • COVID Vaccine required*
  • This role requires travel to client and FTI offices
  • Consulting experience preferred, but not mandatory
