This position joins a team of senior care professionals dedicated to providing the best possible services to adults, seniors and individuals with disabilities needing assistance to remain safely in their home for as long as possible. This position plays a vital role in the selection and engagement of A-Level Caregiver talent to assist our clients. This is an unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of caregivers and clients.

Successful applicants should meet these requirements:

  • Excellent ability to learn computer software
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in Home Care and Caregiving / Home based Health Care
  • 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Solid understanding of Illinois employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
  • Have a high school diploma

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Local travel required to recruit at nursing schools, attend job fairs, partner with schools
  • Manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, perform phone screenings and conduct face-to-face interviews
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations (state specific)
  • Perform background and reference checks
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process
  • Conduct orientation classes with new hires 2-3 times per week
  • Coordinate with Schedulers and provide all new hire information and availability
  • Conduct caregiver trainings in accordance to Illinois Regulations
  • Responsible for Caregiver Retention and Recognition through acknowledgement and incentive programs
