We are looking for an individual who is interested in digital transformation in the changing energy landscape.

You will be a strategic partner working closely with our businesses to understand their evolving problems and needs, assess existing and emerging technology solutions, identify innovative approaches, and develop long-term strategies and roadmaps. You will help LCRA identify and build the right technology capabilities. You will plan for technology solutions with optimal business results. You will become a subject matter expert. You will be trusted to:

• Partnering with the business to understand their most pressing problems and business needs related to technology.
• Develop deep subject matter expertise on the use and application of different IT systems.
• Execute technology governance processes and develop documentation related to project identification and selection.
• Champion innovative process changes and technology-enabled solutions.
• Apply Enterprise Architecture principles and best practices to the selection of technology.
• Work with vendors and industry groups to understand emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefit for LCRA.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations for the development of technology capabilities to an executive audience.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure coordination with key business partners and stakeholders.
• Review LCRA’s enterprise technology portfolio to track alignment to and investment in our strategic vision.
• Help build surveys, evaluate capabilities, and assess our progress towards our strategic goal for technology.

You qualify with:

• Nine or more years of experience in business architecture, IT change management, business process development, business systems analysis, or related experience. A degree(s) in computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

You are a great fit with:

• Experience in technology planning and capability development.
• Experience applying strategy tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with IT and OT solutions used by the utility industry.

Pay: $73,600.00 - $98,133.00 per year
