Position: Senior Application Developer-UI

Reports To: Senior Application Architect

Employment Type: Full Time (Remote within the region)

Job Function: Work with teams developing internal UIs and back-office services to support the various company products servicing 60+ million consumers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop new UI’s for internal business needs along with services to enhance the support of the company's products.
• Contribute to the successful and on-time delivery of a consistent flow of new features to existing UI’s based on user specifications.
• Develop well-informed task estimates for any projects worked and execute work and report status against task plans. Participate in operational support and escalation processes to minimize impact of system malfunctions on consumer facing products.
• Adhere to the company's development processes including development of required documentation and conducting required reviews. Identify deficiencies in standard processes and suggest changes to improve the efficiency and quality of engineering deliverables.
• Become intimately familiar with all our products and services; possesses solid knowledge of our competitor’s products and services; understands the dynamics related to the industries the company participates; understands how outside forces could affect our customers, our products and the company; understands the dynamics behind the company's products, services, and business models.

Qualifications:

• Proof of vaccination is a condition of employment
• Minimum 5-8 years developing web applications, BS in Computer Science or related field a plus
• Proficient in React, familiarity with Angular a plus
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience developing JavaScript applications leveraging modular code design, techniques, and tools (ES6, Babel, Webpack, etc.)
• Experience using the techniques of progressive enhancement and graceful degradation for cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with C# .NET as a web application backend (Core/.NET 5 and above are a plus)
• Familiarity with SQL Server 2008+ and Linq
• Experience working with product development and business stakeholders on designing wireframes, navigational workflows, and specifications as required.
• Must have strong abilities to articulate technology-based decisions via written and oral communication
• Capable of independent education with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues
• Ability to translate business objectives into programming initiatives and requirements.
• Ability to positively influence people both internally and externally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
