SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for the key financial accounting controls, reconciliations, and execution of key activities at the end of each period, quarter, and fiscal year. Position will include a strong interaction with the revenue management and the sales organization requiring the candidate to be a key partner in the business operations. Some of the key responsibilities include direct support of the trade system including reconciliations and error remediation. Will lead the quarterly flux and audit narratives including field review and score carding, support the trade controller for review and analysis of SOX control adherence and be a key member for internal and external audits including walk-through and transaction documentation. Additionally, this position will contribute to the preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range forecasts, track, and report monthly financial results of the business, execute financial analysis in support of the business and customer teams, perform various activities as part of the close, forecasting, annual planning, deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration Accounting or Finance. MBA not necessary but preferred.
Experience: 3-7 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance previous experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess strong prioritization and organizational skills
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills required including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional partners and leaders.
Special Skills: Strong excel skills using large data sets and Power BI. Blacksmith Forge experience preferred. Analytical capabilities to understand the data and derive actions if necessary.
