Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a thriving global $350M medical technology company in search of a high-visibility Senior Accountant II who will be very involved in technical accounting and GL accounting, with a keen focus on process improvement/automation. This will oversee two staff and play an integral role in accounting process improvement. This role will also be involved in integrating acquisition sites into existing accounting system while partnering with leadership teams in Ops and Finance. Lastly, this individual will gain lots of exposure to leadership and various department heads.

Education and Experience:

• CPA + aptitude + intellectual curiosity (highly preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in GL accounting or public accounting (audit)
• Excellent communications skills and experience mentoring staff and/or seniors.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong proficiencies with Microsoft Office applications including intermediate to advanced level in Excel to perform pivot tables, VLOOKUP and high-level functions and formulas.
• Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including ability to lead team projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
