Senior Accountant

One of Vaco's growing hospitality clients is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their accounting team. This person will be over accounting for all of their properties and run the Dallas office. They are looking for someone with strong full-cycle accounting experience and some supervisory experience - open to someone ready to take a step up in their career. Reports to CFO.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports
- Oversee all accounting activities for all properties
- Responsible for the preparation, review and delivery of timely financials
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
- Journal entries, month end close, investor reports
- Review accountants' work for accuracy
- Ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, MBA is a plus
- CPA a plus
- Some supervisory experience
- M3 ERP system experience a plus
- Experience in the hotel industry a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on an evolving team with adaptability and problem solving
