Job Title: Senior Accountant

Reports to: Financial Controller – North America

Education Requirements: 4 year degree in Accounting or combination of experience and education required. CPA preferred.

Experience/Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience

· Knowledge of US GAAP and reporting standards

· Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment and a basic knowledge of the purchase order process

· Experience with process review and enhancement

· Experience with month end requirements

· Skill in maintaining accounting or bookkeeping records.

· Excellent analytical and communication skills

· High degree of initiative and attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.

Summary of Position:

Individuals serving in this position will be responsible for maintaining timely and accurate accounting records across multiple entities and preparing related financial statements and ad hoc analysis

Job Duties/Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive month-end close, responsible for assigned functional accounting areas

2. Perform daily accounting functions as needed

3. Drive change and enhancements for accounting processes

4. Act as a business liaison between Finance and other company departments

5. Perform variance analysis of accounts, providing accurate insights into fluctuations

6. Other duties as assigned
