The Sellinger School of Business seeks candidates to work closely with our undergraduate and graduate business programs. The duties include a diverse range of administrative and student support including, but not limited to, the following:

Supporting the Academic/Administrative Directors of the Sellinger Scholars Program and the Director of Cohort Programs:
  • Serve as an ambassador for students, applicants, guest speakers, visitors, etc.

  • Event planning for experiential learning and capstone activities (i.e.: coordinating logistics for site visits, special events)Maintaining Scholars website information.

  • Assisting with course registration

  • Tracking grades for program eligibility

  • Planning and supporting events for student cohort.

With the Faculty moderator and Chapter Secretary, coordinate the Beta Gamma Sigma business student honor society – including but not limited to:
  • Generate reports to determine student eligibility
  • Primary planning and contact for spring induction event
  • Serving as primary contact with the BGS corporate office to manage induction process

Provide support to the Program Director for the Emerging Leaders MBA Program.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or Vocational/Technical School Training
  • 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience
    • Demonstrated experience organizing, planning, and coordinating events.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines
    • Ability to produce accurate work and prioritize effectively
    • Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Teams
    • Ability to work with multiple supervisors
    • Ability to maintain professional discretion
    • Self-starter, motivated to learn new skills
    • Flexibility and adaptability
    • Team oriented, cooperative, collaborative approach
  • Ability to support the University’s goals for institutional diversity, as well as the goals and values of a Catholic, Jesuit education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience in an academic setting.
