Schedule: Mon-Fri afterschool hours starting at 3:15pm; Sunday evenings, if possible; flexible schedule

*Must be willing to complete Aim Services, Inc.'s hiring process for self-direction services*

Seeking an energetic, qualified professional with experience working with school age children with special needs to support 6-year-old twins with developmental delays at home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism, be engaged with them to work on goals, be okay with dogs, as well as be patient, friendly, and with excellent communication skills.

General Responsibilities

• Teach basic daily tasks to improve fine and gross motor skills
• Teach positive communication skills and other goals as listed in the service plan
• Provide supervision to ensure safety
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and using the bathroom

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience working with individuals with Autism or similar experience in a related field preferred (i.e. Special Education, PT/OT/Speech Therapy, etc.)
• Valid Driver's License
• Individual specific training (provided by family)
• Online initial and annual trainings (provided by agency)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour
