Bevan Security/B Safe Security/Pye-Barker is looking for a full-time Security/Fire Service Technician to aid our company’s growth. This position’s main base of operations will be our Delran , NJ Office.

This role will merge your past opportunities into how we do things at B Safe/Pye-Barker. We are looking for technicians with experience Servicing fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems. Our salaries are very competitive and based on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Tech will:

• Answer questions from clients about their system, show them how to work the system if necessary, providing five-star service.
• Follow safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property
• Follow the rotating on-call schedule
• Install and troubleshoot fire, burglar, Access control and CCTV equipment
• Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center.
• Perform other duties as required

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Two to Five Years experience as maintenance/installation alarm installer preferred
• Knowledge of installing fire, burglar, access control, and/or CCTV alarms
• High School degree or equivalent
• Electronic Trade School training a plus
• Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines: Seimens, Honeywell, DMP, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, Keyscan, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP considered a plus

REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS

• Communication skills
• Ability to work with others with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug test
