A Seasonal Cook job in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks.

Seasonal roles are from April through September, or as seasonal business needs require. $250 bonus after 90 days of employment.

Cook job responsibilities include:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Position requirements:

  • Must be 19 years of age or over
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or culinary school or catering experience preferred
  • Basic prep skills, knife, and baking skills
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Shifts will vary and include days, evenings, and weekends
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 25#
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Works with knives and small equipment

Your Compensation:

$18.79 - $24.41 per hour. based upon relevant experience.
