The Brookline Recreation Department is accepting applications for part-time, seasonal Athletics program staff. Multiple positions are available and will be filled on an on-going basis.

SOCCER FIELD COORDINATOR

• Schedule: Scheduled dates vary; Sat: 7:00am to 4:00pm
• Pay Rate: $20 per hour
• Requirements: Must be minimum 21 years’ old and possess MA Driver’s license, class D
• Recommended qualifications: Prior athletics knowledge, strong communication skills, ability to think and adapt quickly
• General Responsibilities: Set up soccer fields in morning, clean up in the afternoon. Involves unlocking and moving goals. Monitoring and checking in on games during the day. Provide game day support to volunteer coaches.
• Reports To: Recreation Leader II

TAPPAN WEEKNIGHT SUPERVISOR

• Schedule: September 12, 2022 to March 31, 2022; M-F: 6:00pm to 10:00pm
• Pay Rate: $20 per hour
• Requirements: Must be minimum 21 years’ old.
• Recommended qualifications: Prior athletics knowledge, strong communication skills, ability to think and adapt quickly
• General Responsibilities: Supervise programs that are scheduled in the evenings of the Tappan Facilities. Check in with permitted user groups ensuring they are following their permitted use. Monitor the front entrance of the building to make sure the correct people are permitted into the building. Assist with supplies set-up as needed (tennis nets, volleyball nets, lowering basketball hoops). Ensuring all rooms are unlocked and no trash left behind.

TAPPAN WEEKEND SUPERVISOR

• Schedule: October 1, 2022 to March 26, 2022; Sat: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Sun: 8:30am-3:00pm
• Pay Rate: $20 per hour
• Requirements: Must be minimum 21 years’ old.
• Recommended qualifications: Prior athletics knowledge, strong communication skills, ability to think and adapt quickly
• General Responsibilities: Supervise programs that are scheduled in the evenings of the Tappan Facilities. Check in with permitted user groups ensuring they are following their permitted use. Positions will be filled on an on-going basis. Applications will be accepted through November 27, 2022.

All candidates will go through a background check through the Criminal and Sexual offender database as required by the Town of Brookline health department. For roles requiring a driver's license, a clean motor vehicle report will be required.
