We are now inviting applications from experienced Scrum Masters to join a high performing, high visibility team within software engineering.

Working alongside 2 team leaders, you will use your coaching skills to be able to engage with and influence 2 teams in a collaborative way.

This is intially a 1 year contract, and will ideally be a hybrid role with a couple of days a week on site and some remote working.

Duties:

  • Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
  • Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
  • Remove impediments and mentor the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
  • Support the product owner and provide education where needed

Experience we'd love to see

  • Prior experience on a scrum team
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Ability to figure out what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Ability to work with and manage a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  • Strong coaching and servant leadership skills to help teams handle work efforts.
  • Must have excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Help drive business value and results working with the product owner and the teams.
  • Help mature the teams to be self-determined and motivated to continue delivering high results and expectations.

It would be beneficial if the candidate has:

  • Experience in financial services industry
  • Experience in recognition and reward systems
  • Local to Milwaukee

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Compensation package:

  • Weekly pay
