Description: NSI requires a Scrum Master to support the Score Technology and Analytics Center. Facilitate Scrum and/or other ceremonies put in place for communication purposes: Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, Daily Stand-ups. Be able to help Product Owners and teams break work down into Epics and User Stories with a clear definition of done (DoD). Facilitate conversations that will help the team come up with their own solutions. Identifies precursors to team derailment and develops a safe environment to promote conversations address potential conflict areas to maintain the overall health of the team and its members. Works with the Product Owner to align the team with the vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information. Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities. Work closely with Product Owners, Jr. Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to deliver projects as scheduled. Proficient in use of PM tools which include Azure DevOps, MS Project, and TFS. Accurately assesses, manages, and reports risks and issues. Develop and track project progress on a daily basis. Manage plans, dashboards, and standard project reporting that includes weekly status reports. Experience working in an Agile Environment as a Scrum Master. Ability to coach and mentor. A mindset of servant leadership. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM) or other relevant certification preferred.

Desired Skills: Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills. Strong knowledge of Agile values and principles. Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and team building skills.

Location: Lexington Park, MD

Education: BS or BA degree

Experience: At least 4 years related experience as a project team member and a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Agile Scrum framework, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be U.S. citizen.
