Scrum Master

Location: Remote

W2 /1099 requirement

Requirements

• First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 12-15 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
• Must have the requisite agile knowledge of software development experience to coach and guide Development Team members on how to improve their skills
• Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games
• Proven experience coaching teams, going through the scrum ceremonies. Need to be proactive, not just going through standard checklists but driving the product and development team
• Firm understanding of incremental delivery and metrics, including backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definitions

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
