As a Screen Printer at Inkhouz, you’re how we make our customers happy. You’re the backbone of the entire operation. Using our new I Image direct to screen and our Cobra 10 color press, you will produce high quality screen printing apparel, in a laid back flexible working
environment. You won’t just take orders - you’ll work collaboratively with our team. This is a job with independence and responsibility.

Screen Printer Responsibilities

• Receiving work order jobs for Screen Printing
• Examining work orders to determine printing times, ink and material quantities
• Designing screen patterns according to customer specification
• Selecting screen size, degreasing agents and emulsion coatings
• Loading and unloading screen into printer
• Installing and repositioning screen printing screens and pressure roles
• Calibrating printer before batch is printed
• Running prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing process
• Troubleshoot Machine Malfunctions and Complete Minor Repairs
• Drying, folding and packing completed articles after the run
• Maintaining and cleaning press
• Periodically inspect the products produced by pressing machines to ensure they meet the specifications outlined in the art
• Document and file daily production results
• Make sure work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well-maintained by performing maintenance and general janitorial duties throughout shift as time allows
• Maintain and update regularly all production and inventory usage documents
• Obtain or mix inks and fill ink fountains
• Download or scan files to be printed, using printing production software

Screen Printer Requirements

• High school diploma
• Lifting up to 75lbs will be required
• 2 years previous work experience as a screen printer
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• High level of creative and artistic skills
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work with ink and chemicals every day
• Ability to manually operate large machinery
• Ability to complete production runs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
