What will you do

We are looking for a Scientist with claim support expertise to work within our Skin Health clinical team to develop next-generation scientific claims and insights. The role will have responsibilities to execute and expand current clinical projects. The role will also include responsibilities for curating and expanding the claim database, summary of clinical endpoints, facilitation of claims evidence gathering, implementation of research outcomes into claim playbooks, and interface with other cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate would have experience in claims support for skincare brands and products, knowledge of claim playbooks for various market needs, and for label creation and review. Additional experience in clinical study execution, GCP compliance, data analysis, and quality control is desirable. They must have a proven ability to communicate complicated data-based insights to consumer understandable simple languages, both independently and in collaborative project settings. They must be willing to learn consumer product-relevant claims strategies, and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams including product development, regulatory, patent, claims, and marketing.

• Work closely within the clinical team to identify consumer-facing insights/trends from data analysis

• Assist in documentation review for claims summaries of various skin care products

• Review of communications and promotional material in commercial use for skincare brands with existing claims

• Review of Product Development Page/product websites refresh as needed

• Maintain Claims Database and existing claims renewal

• Assist in setting up and following up with claim-related internal meetings

• Work with the regulatory team to review safety documents and requirements

• Organize internal and external clinical testing for claims support

• Participate in QA/QC for clinical study documents and results

• The selected candidate must be able to operate in and leverage resources in a highly networked team environment, and be able to execute against multiple projects with tight timelines

• The candidate must be able to work independently on multiple projects and able to successfully partner and influence cross-functional team members

• 
  Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in biological science, physical science/engineering, data science, or equivalent experience.

• 3 years of industrial experience in claim generation and market support for consumer products is required.

• Must be highly motivated and organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• The ability to work in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams is essential.

• Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize claim-related matrix and database.

• Willingness to learn clinical and consumer product-relevant data sets and techniques.

• Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms.

• The ability to collaborate across teams and work independently.

• Fluent in written and oral English

• MS Office proficiency, and experience in developing both oral and written presentations.

• In-depth scientific knowledge of skin (biology, physiology, pharmacology) is preferred.

• Ability and flexibility to work in a global environment is preferred.

• Experience with clinical operation is desirable.

• This position may require up to 10% annual travel (domestic and international).
