Job description

Has in depth knowledge of all the functions of the front office. Performs clerical and communication functions. Schedules patient appointments and provides courteous reception in the clinic. Collects co-pays, answers phones, checks patient in/out and coordinates scheduling of diagnostic testing for patients. Various office duties including but not limited to filing and sorting. Other duties as assigned.

Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently. Must be comfortable with computers and medical terminology. In depth knowledge of all insurance types.


Minimum Education: • High School Graduate or GED equivalent required Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • 1 year experience in health care setting preferred. Required License/Certification: • N/A The hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $29.77.
