Job description

We have multiple providers and specialties and provide services in several of our surrounding areas. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience: Previous experience in medical records is preferred
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Attention to detail. Computer knowledge. Ability to work in a high stress environment. Ability to communicate well with others. Ability to read and understand directions. Ability to work well with others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assures that all medical records are prepped, scanned and indexed accurately before the hard copy record is shredded.
Charts/ Records are prepped in the following manner to prepare for scanning:

Open Fortis Scan
Indexing:
Fill in necessary fields
Ability to perform other duties as assigned by Director.
