Position Description:

Responsible for creating a consistent quality stocks, soups and hot sauces on time and accurate amounts following recipes.

Responsibilities:

• Producing Stocks, Soups, Hot Sauces
• Submitting adjustments of recipes based on flavor, yield and or ingredients
• Must represent the Company Brand in Dress Code and Uniform Policy
• Able to assist the team when necessary to ensure completion of tasks and duties
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday
• Desire to be a team player and create a positive environment

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge about food handling, food sanitation, and safety
• 1 -3 years previous experience preferred in ala carte cooking/banquet, off premise catering setting
• 1 year management experience preferred
• Must possess use of all kitchen equipment and report any deficiencies including knife handling skills and cooking techniques such as braising, sauté, sear and grill
• Must possess proper recipe conversion and measuring
• Serve Safe and Allergen Certification preferred
• In process or completion of culinary education preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends
