This position opening is to be located at our Bartow, Florida location.

The overall responsibilities of a Dry Finisher (Sandblaster) include:

• Recognize differences in quality and consistency of various finishes (light, medium, heavy).
• Able to work around reveals, openings, and blockouts with a high attention to detail.
• Lay out panel finishes from shop tickets.
• Proper operation of handling equipment.
• Safe placing, blocking, and securing of panels in racks.
• Operation and maintenance of compressor system.
• Safe operation and maintenance of sandblast system including hoses and nozzles.
• Use and care of CO monitor.
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• General construction experience preferred
• Prior finishing experience preferred
