is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team in our Columbus, GA corporate office location. This is not a remote job.

Job Summary

This entry-level Customer Service Representative position is responsible for acting as a liaison between online retail customers and the company. Assists with customer concerns, orders, errors, order questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries with accuracy and efficiency. Only serious applicants need to apply.

Primary responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner, identify and resolve issues
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, returns, and cancellations
  • Resolve customer concerns via phone, email, chat, chat tickets, survey, or social media
  • Use of telephones to reach out to customers and verify order information
  • Assist with resolving any errors that would prevent the order from shipping
  • Notify customers on order status for orders that are called in and send tracking information once order ships
  • Find a satisfactory resolution when a product is defective.
  • Utilize computer technology to handle high phone call and chat volumes
  • Compile necessary reports and distribute them to designated groups
  • Work with the customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered

Requirements

  • 1-year customer support experience preferred
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and prioritize activities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Microsoft Office and order management software experience highly preferred
  • Strong to average typing skill
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Team player

Education

  • High School or equivalent (some college preferred)

Hours

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.
  • Some weekends and overtime may be required throughout the year
