You will lead the planning, forecasting and risk/opportunity visibility for multiple business units across the organization.


This role will manage the demand planning process for all markets, giving visibility to major shifts in demand, highlighting inventory and supply concerns and supporting purchasing with advanced supply analysis and reporting. This leader should have experience driving projects, comfortable with iteration and have a passion for change management.

This is a new role with design authority to set the future rules, processes and working dynamics of our new ERP and Demand Planning solutions.

This role will assist the Supply Chain Team in maintaining and executing the department KPIs and perform analysis to support key productivity and inventory decisions. In addition, they will be responsible to build a strong culture based on collaborative hands-on teamwork and continuous improvement in support of “OUR HOUSE” cultural initiatives.


  • Develop accurate and timely demand forecast, relying on KPI's to improve performance.
  • Responsible for ensuring the planning tools efficiently and effectively utilize the demand plan as the primary driver along with key data inputs from costing and operations departments to drive supply planning activities.
  • Responsible for managing and conveying statistical analysis to the organization and working closely with Sales and Operations teams to ensure that common goals are met.
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Teams to gather inputs to build the consensus demand plan through the S&OP process.
  • Work closely with the inventory teams to understand and resolve known supply constraints or excess inventory risks.
  • Ensure consistency of forecast assumptions across the business unit, including base business trends, promotional plans, new launch volumes, retention strategy changes & holiday/peak volumes.
  • Focus on accuracy of demand plan for new product launches, based on accurate analysis of distribution builds and velocity expectations.
  • Prepare written analyses, documentation, reports, or other data.

  • Champion the S&OP process across the enterprise from ideation to implementation
  • Regularly connect with Business Unit Managers (BUM) to ensure scope of S&OP captures most important needs and risks (categories, suppliers, upstream, etc…).
  • Prepare monthly S&OP Upstream slide deck and chair the monthly S&OP meetings:
  • Supply and demand meeting.
  • Risk review meeting: drive risk mitigation plans
  • Drive improvement in forecast accuracy and bias in close cooperation with BUM’s.
  • Help define standard process for MRP and forecast creation for raw & packaging materials.
  • Train BUMs in optimal material management processes, systems, and tools.
  • Enable best practice sharing between BUM’s and factories.
  • Drive performance to support Supply Chain KPI’s – Out of Stock, Days on Hand coverage, Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, On Time In Full.
  • Ensure risks for the enterprise are captured from risk management function and ensure BCP’s are in place and implemented in cooperation with BUM’s.
  • Strengthen the S&OP community through working with cross functional partners while syncing back into the S&OP process.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10 plus years relevant work experience in demand/supply planning.
  • Candidate must possess excellent verbal, written skills.
  • Experience with creating a formal S&OP process and working dynamics across the organization
  • Ability to interact with customers, team members, management, and outside vendors with professionalism, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
  • Strong personal organization skills and acute attention to detail required.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and accurate data entry skills are required.
  • Experience with bulk and packaged goods is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience independently developing strategy and driving tangible results using data and achieving strategic objectives.
