Job Description

JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to:

· Visit with clients at their offices and in other offsite locations around the tri-state area. Also, can be via phone and video conference although this is slowing down.

· Maintain records of all activities in our CRM, HubSpot.

· Attend weekly sales meetings at AEIS and keep the company abreast of your weekly activities, news on projects, and issues both positive and needing attention with our customers.

· Oversee the development of RFP responses, proposals, and other customer communications,

· Attend networking events, marketing events, and other gatherings to promote our brand and services.

· Achieving Activity and Sales Targets.

· Ability to handle multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.

· Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline.

· Provide a consultative sales approach to clients.

· Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.

· Able to professionally, respectfully, and confidently communicate with customers.

· This is a full time position, based on site at our South Plainfield location, however this position will be out of the office meeting with customers on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Have worked in and around the construction accounts in the tri-state area.

· Have a working knowledge of the large-scale construction industry. Knowledge of the key players in the industry.

· Will have accomplished the following:

o Experience independently closing individual projects with revenue over $1M

o Average deal size $500K-3.0M

· Ability and experience selling to all levels within the organization including C-Suite level.

· Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close.

· Track record in closing large, complex deals.

· Candidate will be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset.

· Have well-established analytical and technical ability and experiences.

· Good executive presence, communication skills, and credibility

· Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned goals and targets.

· Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities.

· At least an intermediate level in using Microsoft Office products. Especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • New York, NY 10001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Sales Executive: 6 years (Preferred)
  • NYC metro infrastructure: 5 years (Preferred)
  • public sector selling: 5 years (Preferred)
  • large-scale construction industry: 5 years (Preferred)
