We are looking for an outgoing Sale Associate at Esme' & Elodie to provide excellent customer service who is fashion forward and customer minded for our women's and plus size boutique in downtown Renton. An ideal candidate has strong communication skills and can chat up anyone who walks through our doors. Being able to find and solve problems with product knowledge is a must. Finding creative solutions to problems that may occur is helpful because working retail is never the same day. Someone who has knowledge of social media and isn't afraid of being in front of the camera is required since we are an online store as well. A positive attitude and a self-starter is what we need to join our team!

Must:

• must be able to work consistently one day a week and/or afternoon shifts from 2-6 & flexibility in working weekends
• have reliable mode of transportation and communication
• have the ability to schedule work two months in advance
• Have a proven record of sales experience
• Have an outgoing demeanor... Ya know, the kind of person who can chat with anyone

Responsibilities

• Greet and chat with customers
• Use product knowledge of items to drive sales
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Process incoming inventory- unpack, steam and tag
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Fulfill online orders and process in person transactions quickly and efficiently
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Knowledge of social media marketing

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
