POSITION:

The role of the Sales Assistant is to help the General Manager with new membership direct sales by bringing in new clients daily, generating new leads and working the front desk. The Sales Assistant also provides help with retaining current members, customer service and merchandise sales. Fitness knowledge or background is a plus!!!


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to achieve sales in both one-on-one and group assisted stretch memberships and retail
  • Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
  • Ability to visit close by locations promoting our studio
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Liaise between managers, customers, and employees
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Daily and/or occasional travel may be required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the General Manager with the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs analysis
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue close relationships
  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota and follow-up with leads and missed intro classes
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customer
  • Manage the front desk to greet and check-in clients and prospects when they enter the studio
  • Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
  • Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studio, including social media campaigns and photoshoots
  • Other duties as assigned
