Location: Beautiful Centre Hall, PA found in the Allegheny region of Pennsylvania. This is not a remote work position.

We are looking for a talented, tried and true professional to oversee our sales and marketing efforts. As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll drive inside, outside and e-commerce sales, develop pricing strategies and manage all things marketing whether online campaigns or collateral for vendor shows.

WHY THIS POSITION IS IMPORTANT TO US
Pennsylvania Sawmill is set for an exciting year of record-breaking sales and new product launches. The Sales and Marketing Manager will work to promote our current products, launch new ones as well as identify and secure new sources of business. They will work hand in hands with our CAD Designer to develop leads into actual projects.

WHAT IS THIS POSTION RESPONSIBLE FOR ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS:
The Sales and Marketing will be the point of contact for incoming leads, responsible for qualifying, estimating and quoting potential sales, working with our CAD Designer on more complex custom structures. Using your exceptional networking skills and resourceful personality, you will identify, develop and secure new sources of revenue in addition to nurturing and expanding our existing relationships. Strong marketing skills will be critical to increasing e-commerce sales, online campaigns and creating appealing collateral for vendor shows.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS REQUIRE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Business.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales and marketing.
  • Prior experience managing product launches.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Travel is estimated to be less than 10%
  • Understanding and knowledge of product sales and marketing.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Sales experience in wood product or construction industries.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promoting existing products and introducing new products to the market.
  • Scheduling expenditures and ensuring sales goals are met.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve marketing goals.
  • Processing incoming sales opportunities, consulting with CAD Designer and engineer as needed.
  • Gathering, investigating and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Developing and implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients and business partners by making regular contact, understanding their needs and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending vendor shows, conferences and workshops, reading publications and maintaining personal and professional networks.
