Sailboat sales manager
Nautical Ventures is looking for a Sales manager for our newly created Sailboat Division.
We have secured the exclusive territory rights with BENETEAU , Oceanis & Oceanis Yachts BENETEAU First Racing Sailboats, Excess Catamarans ,Nautor Swan.

Sales of imported sailboats grew by 22% in 2022, and of those 20% were multi-hulls. Our business model is forecasting $20 million+ in sailboat sales for 2023 and we’re in need of knowledgeable sales staff who share our passion and can see this opportunity.

Sales Managers must be passionate about keeping customers happy and achieving or exceeding their volume and margin sales goals by leading the sales team in the defined sales processes.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensures the Sales Team effectively follows successful sales processes, including timely completion of paperwork, and that the customer has an excellent buying experience
  • Has a continuous learning mindset, develops and maintains a high-level of product, market and industry knowledge, and obtains maintains strong familiarity of all brands at their location
  • Utilizes all sales tools, including CRM, to ensure the team is performing daily follow up and prospecting for new customers, as well as communication on a regular basis with existing sold customers
  • Builds and maintains positive customer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, increase referrals and enhance dealer reputation
  • Professionally presents products to customers and prospects, including reviewing the features and benefits of the various boats, preparing quotes, completing trade evaluations and presenting pricing consistent with achieving margin and customer satisfaction goals
  • Promotes teamwork, supports and works with other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, financing, delivery and subsequent servicing of the boat
  • Actively participates in boat shows, store and off-site sales and customer events
  • Showroom inventory management, ordering and coordination of display.
