We co-create and supply our partners with hot-cooked products including sauces, cheese sauces, soups, chilis and marinades. Our cold-processed products include dressings, sauces, spreads, and batters. We are a fast-growing food organization with 4 production facilities in So Cal and 1 facility in the East Coast.

Job Purpose:

The safety coordinator will have primary responsibility to maintain all documentation related to corporate safety department, to ensure Cal OSHA compliance.

Job Functions:

· Responsible for maintaining accurate records of trainings across all facilities

· Responsible for implementing safety policies and procedures.

· Conduct regular safety walkthroughs.

· Ensure all programs and policies are in place and are being followed throughouly by following up with supervisors and managers.

· Lead by example and foster a safety conscious culture.

· Coordinate annual training plans and ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements.

· Attend new hire orientations to talk about safety and promote the company’s safety culture.

· Air Quality Compliance

· Hazardous Waste Management

· Hazardous Materials Management

· Water Quality Compliance

· Other duties as required.

Skills:

· Strong communication abilities in English and Spanish.

· Knowledge of Cal Osha safety requirements

· Strong Administrative abilities.

· Clear speech abilities in front of a large crowd.

· Multi-location experience is helpful.

Education and Experience

Years of Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (University or Technical School) Related field of study. Cal OSHA training and certification.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
