Job Summary:
Our RAS Energy Roustabout will serve a variety of roles at our north slope base. From cleaning and sweeping to shoveling and strapping, and assisting with fuel transfers. This position is located on the North Slope and requires a rotational work schedule. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided; however, transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals are also provided while in Prudhoe Bay.

Essential Job Functions:

• Is responsible for keeping wash bay building and equipment clean, and may perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as pumps and hoses.
• Completes PTSP (Pre-Task Safety Planning) card prior to starting any job.
• Assists with strapping and off-loading equipment.
• Drives to airport pick-ups and other errands as necessary.
• Assists with fuel transfers, including performing basic mathematical volume conversions.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Mathematical aptitude.
• Self-motivation.
• Good driving
• Possesses current general knowledge of practical laborer skills & ability to work safely.
• Must be able to follow all company, client, safety and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed.
• The physical ability to routinely walk, stand, squat, climb, stoop, bend, twist, reach and carry in an industrial environment with the ability to quickly respond to changes in work demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver’s license, including ability to be insured by RAS Energy's auto insurer
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Certification. RAS Energy can provide NSTC certification training if needed
• One (1) year of related construction labor working experience (preferred).
• Petrochemical, oilfield or arctic experience (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
