Rolling Stone, the pop culture bible for more than 50 years, is looking for an Editorial Assistant to help with the logistics and production of our award-winning content across all of our platforms.

The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented and able to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure. Great people skills are essential. So is a strong sense of story at a place like Rolling Stone, which has a half-century history of truly incredible reportage.

Responsibilities:

• Help produce editorial packages, lists, and archival content for Rolling Stone’s many digital platforms
• Coordinate travel, scheduling, and logistics for top editors
• Process expenses and reimbursements for contributing writers and key vendors
• Assist with public relations outreach
• Contribute to the editorial team as needed

Requirements:

• Highly organized and able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle budgets, scheduling and complex logistics
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with content management or digital production system is a major plus

Typical wage range: $60k - $62k

Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
