Job description
Job Scope:
- Ensuring proper operation of casting equipment using robotic automation interfaced with PLC based equipment
- Provide first response on floor manufacturing support
- Review scheduling of cells and coordinate new job to cell changeovers as needed
- Provide both general and advanced robot maintenance and programming
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as faulty mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
- Dismantle defective machines and equipments to gain access to problem areas
- Install new or repaired parts
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts of drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems
- Other duties or repairs as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Robotic Tech experience in a manufacturing setting
- Understand robotic and cell safety
