Essential Health Bozeman is recruiting a full or part-time licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to join our growing practice. Essential Health is a national company with expertise in primary care, anti-aging, aesthetics, functional, and regenerative medicine. We are innovative and practice on the cutting edge of healthcare. Position Summary:

This full-time position will work closely with our providers and staff to promote optimal health for our clients by offering excellent service, communication, and encouragement. The ideal candidate will be customer-driven and will demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and a professional appearance and approach. Candidate must have the ability to work closely with a small team and communicate with a wide variety of people in an effective manner. This full or part-time position requires a candidate that is ready to perform any tasks necessary as this newest location increases in volume.

Clinic Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to provide quality health care to the clients.
  • Room patients in a timely fashion.
  • Check patients' vitals and record data on their electronic health records.
  • Document patient issues or concerns and relay to the provider.
  • Take medical history for new patients. Update and audit patients' health records for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Patient education.
  • Set up and clean exam rooms.
  • Assist providers with office procedures, patient referrals, medical record requests, medication refills, prior authorizations, etc.
  • Communicate test results and provider orders to patients.
  • Schedule clients for follow-up appointments.
  • Observe patients for reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Administer subcutaneous/intramuscular injections.
  • Assist with placing and removing peripheral intravenous lines.
  • Keep track of IV inventory and order supplies when necessary.
  • Monitor patients receiving IV infusions and administer IV pushes, per provider orders.
  • Collect laboratory specimens, if needed.
  • Transfer data and information from hard copies or directly to computer systems.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
  • Updates and advances job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Process billing information and collect payments.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.
  • Possess the aptitude and initiative to be trained in any of the skills above.
  • Maintain active BLS and ACLS certification upon hire.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current LPN or RN license in the state of Montana or holds an active license in one of the Nurse Licensure Compact states.
  • Experience with IV insertions and phlebotomy preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of using an electronic medical record (EMR).
