Job description
The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Nurses demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for competent, safe and professional practice.
Position Summary : The Registered Nurse will administer skilled nursing care for patients in their place of residence, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patients and their families, and a referring agency. Assumes the responsibility for and participates in the coordination of care.
