RN Coordinator Resident Care
Position Overview
The RN Coordinator acts on behalf of the Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and administrators in directing the day- to- day activities on nursing unit in accordance with the Federal, State, and Local Nursing standards, guidelines, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department; and ensures the adequate Supervision of staff.
RN coordinator Resident Care Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Help communicate organizational needs
Help oversee employees’ performance and work flow
Help take care of the residents with their medication and treatment needs.
Demonstrate commitment to organizational Values of Compassion, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation
Position Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
License/Certification
Current New York State Registered Nurse License
CPR within 3 months of hire
Preferred:
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
Previous supervisory experience in a long-term care setting
