Registered Nurse Full Time, Days, in the IMCU unit at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital

• Full time: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts
• Rotating shifts: 2 day shifts and 1 night shift per week
• Minimum 2 years of intermediate care experience required - preferably in an hospital setting.

About this unit:

• 29 bed unit; 4 to 1 patient to nurse ratio
• This is a busy unit with a lot of patient turnover ranging in acuity and ailments
• This unit provides care for all unstable patients that do not require intubation.

Education:

• BSN Preferred, ASN required.

Licensure & Certification:

• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Indiana.
• BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
• ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
