Job description
Birch Gardens in Staunton, VA is seeking dedicated RMAs/Med Techs for all shifts. In this role, you will provide resident care services with kindness and compassion, while always maintaining the Resident’s safety and comfort.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Helping out as needed in the Resident Services area to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our Residents
- Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Residents while following company policies and procedures
- Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders
Qualifications:
- Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients a plus
- Must be able to speak and read in English
- Previous experience with the geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs
- Ability to adjust to different personality types and situations
- Must be reliable, caring, and gentle
- Ability to provide abiding respect for the elderly and to remain calm at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
