JOB TITLE: Revenue Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Revenue Manager
DEPT: Guest Services
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting with the operation and implementation of the retail revenue for Morgan’s Wonderland, and Morgan’s Inspiration Island. This includes all food as well as a merchandise product. Responsibility includes the development of products, store layout display, inventory control, and function of all retail. Supervise a small team to ensure all revenue locations are properly staffed while maintaining weekly schedules and staff attendance. Work together with the Management Team to implement management methods for the professional operation of Morgan’s Wonderland Parks – with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Be knowledgeable about Morgan’s Wonderland, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure excellent customer service when providing assistance or answering questions of guests and visitors.
  • Supervise all store operations to include maintaining or exceeding weekly sales revenue, safety, guest service, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Supervise cost of goods, profit margin on all merchandise and food items
  • Purchase retail consisting of merchandise and food product to develop profitable product category
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain product based on guests needs and desire.
  • Work with other departments and Morgan’s Wonderland entities to assist in locating, and recommending product
  • Examine product to ensure quality, freshness, and that it is correctly priced, counted, transferred, stocked
  • Adhere to store presentation and visual guidelines
  • Assist in ensuring proper inventory levels and make decisions about stock control
  • Assist in markups and mark downs on inventory
  • Assist in the organization and completion of the inventory process
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Ensure standards for quality guest service, health and safety are met
  • Process all merchandise shipments, store to store, or store to warehouse product transfers
  • Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Assist in managing profit and loss responsibility for stores and protects company assets
  • Analyze transactions to find methods to simplify procedures and improve processes
  • Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds
  • Assist with check in and checkout of park guests
  • Assist in the oversight of park services functions/staff
  • Provide weekly schedules for team members in a timely manner
  • Provide consistent highly personalized check-in services to groups, events and park guests.
  • Coordinate guest special out-of-the-ordinary requests as needed and appropriate.
  • Assist in ensuring that all staff members receive proper break time.
General
  • Create and foster an atmosphere of friendliness and hospitality in the park office to ensure an enjoyable experience for staff, and guests.
  • Cultivate staff morale by monitoring team dynamics and individual needs.
  • Participates in ongoing professional development and maintains an understanding of current best practices.
  • Attend and participate in employee training and meetings
  • Any other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • This position requires a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience work with non-profits preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Common knowledge in order to trouble shooting a problem and the ability to problem solve issues to a desired outcome.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and organize varied/multiple tasks
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • An understanding in Microsoft Office suite including word, excel, teams, and outlook.
  • Strong Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to the mission and core values of Morgan’s Wonderland as well as the implementation of these values in all daily work activities.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to work as part of a team; maintain a positive attitude even under stress.
  • Ability to understand profit and loss, retail trends and forecast of product
  • Willingness to work weekend days and have a flexible schedule that varies by the season of the year.

  • The work environment is an outdoor park environment with continuous outdoor activity and exposure to weather.
  • Must remain alert with no lapses of consciousness
  • Continuous requirement for professional demeanor and appropriate park staff attire at all times.
