The Patio Restaurant of Bolingbrook is looking for cashiers and counter-help to join our fun and fast-paced hospitality team. Whether you have years of experience in customer service, or none at all, we are looking for you! Our team members are the cornerstone of our day-to-day operations and play a critical role in ensuring that our guests' experience is top notch.

Started in 1977, The Patio operates unique, high-volume casual dining establishments that are famous for BBQ, but also offer an extensive menu that includes made to order salads, homemade burgers, and a variety of sandwiches. We take pride in using only fresh high-quality ingredients and cook everything to order. In addition to accommodating large crowds in our dining rooms, take-out and drive-thru orders are a significant portion of our business.

Here’s more of what you’ll do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by creating an inviting experience for guests
• Display a sense of urgency with guests
• Demonstrates passion in helping and serving others
• Learn The Patio menu items and ability to answer guest questions
• Collaborate with team members
• Greet guests when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy sections in accordance with all restaurant, federal, state, and local regulations
• Support teammates during high-volume times
• Cash Handling
• Other duties as assigned
• Learn transferable skills that will equip you to work in any field
