POSITION: Electrician

Opportunity:
To complete electrical related maintenance repairs and installations for a portfolio of ~700 affordable single-family homes in the Kansas City metro for Purpose Residential, Whitestone’s wholly owned property management firm. We are looking for a go-getter who is tired of the internal politics and bias’s that are structured from the top down.

Whitestone & Co. is recruiting an Electrician:
We are looking for an experienced electrician with residential experience, along with a proven track record of leading troubleshooting complex problems and completing work orders with exceptional professionalism and in a timely manner and providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment, including cabinets, meters, sub- metering, conduit, and wiring
• Utilize electrical testing equipment as required
• Obtain required electrical permits
• Collect and review closeout documentation for jobs, including site photographs, tests, and inspections
• Complete larger repairs, replacements and installations of plumbing components and systems.
• Work seamlessly with maintenance supervisor to ensure work planned and performed meeting the owner’s expectations and is approved promptly.
• Coordinate with residents to ensure you can access homes to complete work orders.
• Ensure repairs and renovations are compliant with local Housing Authorities and Section 8 program.
• Maintain courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, co-workers, vendors, etc.
• Performs other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship with a qualified plumber.
• Valid electrical license to practice the profession.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Extremely organized and detail and deadline oriented.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
