Reporting to the Education Administrator the Residency Coordinator will support the Residency program with application and interviewing process, matching process, orientation of new residents, departments Resident’s Day, documentation of residents clinical experience and supporting the Program Directors and Education Administrator. The Residency Coordinator will be expected to prepare and maintain data required by ACGME. Expected to coordinate all activities of this office and ensure that everything run smoothly digitally and in-person. Will work at all Women's Health OBGYN locations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for the residency program.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails regarding the program and resolve non-clinical issues as they arise.
  • Interact with outside agencies (residency review committee, CREOG, ABOG).
  • Support Education Administrator with maintaining the Electronic Residency Application System- ERAS database and oversees its processes during the Residency Recruitment season. This includes the interviewing and matching process.
  • Support the GME Education Administrator with resident clinical experience and duty hours, and House Staff arrangements.
  • Coordination of Annual Resident Research Day and orientation of New Residents.
  • Other duties as assigned by the GME Education Administrator.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma/ GED Required
  • 3 year’s work experience
  • Experience working with residency programs for medical graduate education preferred
  • Proficient at facilitating Zoom and Office Teams (breakout rooms etc)
  • Proficiency with computers (i.e., MS Office, database, Internet)
  • Good communication skills
