Two houses are located on Sitrin's main campus, one is in New York Mills, one is in South Utica, and one is in Rome. Residences feature a comfortable living environment. Residence Counselor opportunities exist at our IRA homes located in Utica, Rome, New Hartford, and New York Mills. Current openings are full time and part time for various shifts.
Responsibilities:
- The Residence Counselor assists individuals with their daily living, provided safety, and comfort.
- They provide assistance to individuals with basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and administering medications as directed.
- Residence Counselor also help with home management tasks such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, and cleaning.
Requirements:
A high school diploma and a clean valid NYS Driver's License are required. Previous experience with the intellectually disabled population is preferred. Must have the ability to pass a criminal background and drug test (hair).
*Starting Pay Rate $17.00-$18.00
$500 sign on bonus after six months with requirements met.
