Description:


Curie Therapeutics is focused on the extremely exciting field in oncology of precision radiopharmaceuticals to address unmet needs in solid tumor therapies. We are at the vanguard of developing best in class alpha- and beta-particle-emitting radio ligands targeting tumors while mitigating destruction to healthy tissue and cells. We have built a fully integrated, leading radiopharmaceutical platform, bringing together novel target biology insights, innovative multimodal ligand discovery, and enabling translational infrastructure.

As an early-stage biotech, our labs are temporarily based in Woburn, MA, and our corporate roles are working out of our offices in Cambridge, MA. We are moving to a beautiful space at the end of 2022 where all the functions will be able to work together in Watertown, MA.


We are seeking a Research Associate to join the Radiopharmacology team, which plays a critical role in advancing personalized medicine and radiopharmaceuticals.


This is a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to join a team that develops novel targeting, imaging, and therapy strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with research functions within the R&D team. The ideal candidate will have experience of preclinical studies, tissue preparation and analysis, and data analysis and preparation for dissemination within the company.


Illustrative breadth of responsibilities:


  • Work with the wider R&D team and Radiopharmacology to plan and execute preclinical studies to evaluate candidate agents.
  • Prepare tissue samples for assessment and analysis, including preparation for histological analysis.
  • Use advanced technological instrumentation, including imaging cameras and autoradiography processes.
  • Work with internal and external groups (CROs).
  • Engage with other functions to advance with the R&D workflow.
  • Collect and analyze data and report back to the wider company to inform and guide the agent development process.
  • Author, revise, and implement documents and standard operating procedures, review investigations, interpret results and generate technical conclusions consistent with Quality risk management principles.
  • Maintain material inventory.
  • Support daily QA activities and other work-related duties as assigned.


Requirements / Skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication abilities
  • Experience working with electronic quality management and laboratory information management systems
  • Ability to work with computers and software applications, such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a small team setting and take on significant responsibilities during daily operations
  • Training will be provided where necessary
